FAQ

Do I have to pay a fee for utilizing your services?
Not at all. LegalSource is contracted by our client companies, which utilize our services to find talented employees. There is no charge for registering with LegalSource or for being placed by our agency.

How do I begin?
You can email, fax or direct mail your resume to our office. Upon receipt, you will be contacted by one of our staffing specialists to begin discussing your unique career goals and aspirations.

Besides my resume, what do I need to bring with me?
Letters of recommendation from past employers are a great place to start. In addition, any correspondence acknowledging your contributions to the company, awards or recognitions that you have received are very helpful. Finally, if you have any special certifications that you would like to share, by all means, bring those as well.

What should I expect at my interview with LegalSource?
Our experienced, friendly staff are sure to make your visit an enjoyable one. We will discuss your background and past experiences, establish your goals and objectives for securing your new position, administer our testing program if appropriate, and basically decide how to proceed in securing your perfect position. We will also help you prepare for your job interviews by sharing our tips and secrets for career success.

What happens next?
LegalSource will now proceed in representing you to our clients. When we have a position that fits all your requirements, we will contact you concerning the job, and to obtain your approval before we forward your resume. LegalSource does not send your resume to any company without your explicit permission.

I had three quality interviews through LegalSource and loved them all. Now what do I do?
Relax, this is a good problem! LegalSource will assist you in making the best possible decision for yourself. Together, we will go through the benefits, vacations, salary and any other pertinent information to help you decide. We often recommend the good, old-fashioned pros and cons list. Whatever your decision, LegalSource will support you all the way.

What kinds of places will you be sending me to?
Since 1986 LegalSource has been placing candidates in top law firms and corporate legal departments.

I saw a job in the newspaper. Can I submit my resume on my own?
Yes, absolutely. You are not under any obligation after you register with us, but we are here to make your job search easier and hopefully more successful.

My friend is also looking for a new position. Can you help?
LegalSource is primarily a referral company, which means that most of our candidates come from other candidates. We take enormous pride in that fact, and can ensure you that we will treat your referral with the utmost care.
